Snoop Dogg Surprises Jimmy Kimmel With A Special Donation At The Start Of His Interview

Last month, Jimmy Kimmel and his family welcomed their new son, William. But shortly after he was born, doctors discovered that William was born with a heart disease — tetralogy of Fallot with pulmonary atresia, and it required surgery.

In an emotional monologue on his show, Kimmel shared the news, adding that the open-heart surgery at Children's Hospital Los Angeles was a success.

Weeks later, Snoop Dogg appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where Kimmel asked him about his show with Martha Stewart, his favorite rap artists, and more.

But before that, Snoop Dogg interrupted to surprise Kimmel with a generous donation to the children's hospital so that other kids, like Kimmel's son, could get the help they need.

"This is your show Jimmy, but I wanted to surprise you with something special," Snoop says. "I was sitting at home, watching your show one night, and I [saw] you speak on your son as far as his health, and so ... I wanted to come out here and make a donation to the hospital. We just want to make sure [that] we're looking out for the next kid that may need that help."

With that, Snoop hands Kimmel an envelope.

"Wow, that is very generous. Thank you very much," Kimmel responds as the audience cheers.
